The store will feature work by 10 of JeDeCo's designers and will open in time for the Jubilee and Olympics.
Jewellery design collective JeDeCo is set to open its first retail space in London’s Oxo Tower, close to the Tate Modern and National Theatre, a retail location well regarded for its jewellery and arty boutiques.
The JeDeCo Jewellery Showroom will open on June 1st 2012 and will host work by 10 of its established and emerging designer jewellers.
The collective is also using the opening to launch its JeDeCo Instant Access initiative – a pre-registered shortlist for stylists wanting same-day access to designer jewels for photo shoots and fashion events.
The designers set to sell in the space include award-winning designers Anna Loucah and Cindy Dennis Mangan and emerging silver designer Doreth Jones. Annika Burman, Catherine Marche, Emma Rose and Stephanie Bates will also showcase their work.
JeDeCo’s co-founder Cindy Dennis Mangan said: "JeDeCo has gone from strength to strength as a talented jewellery design business development membership group, and we are proud to have been selected amongst tough competition to create our first showroom in the Oxo Tower Wharf complex.
“The Oxo Tower is one of London’s iconic landmarks, and is known as a home for the creative arts and particularly designer jewellery. We look forward to an incredible opening year, celebrating both the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics when the spotlight of the world will be on London’s sporting and creative talent."
